nstitute of Construction Economics Sciences (briefly called the Institute) is a scientific and technological organization specializing in construction economics of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (briefly called Vietnam Union). The Institute operates as per Law on Science and Technology dated June 9, 2000; the Decree No. 81/2002/ND-CP dated October 17, 2002 by the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of Law on Science and Technology; the Circular No. 10/2005/TT-BKHCN dated August 24, 2005 by the Ministry of Science and Technology guiding conditions for establishment and operation registration of scientific and technological organizations; the Decision No. 1350/LHH dated November 21, 2005 by the Vietnam Union.

esearching the application; implementing construction programs and projects: Determining standard system of economics, technique, management, investment, planning, service of infrastructure, urban and housing; sequences and procedures for problem solution in the construction process; managing project; proposing models of organization, operation, and business management in construction; criterion for assessment of organizational capacity, methods for assessment of economic effect, reality of construction market development; Training and consulting construction economics, including: making and managing investment project, execution, costing appraisal, bidding documents, bidding selection; valuing enterprise assets and real estate; the work of finance and construction accounting.

-Implementing scientific and technological services: criticizing, assessing, and providing information, documents, technological transfer, norms of economics, technique, labor, materials, machines and technology for construction execution; improving knowledge; compiling curriculum, documents for conferences; designing and assessing projects;

-Associating and cooperating with domestic and international organizations and individuals in the implementation of the Institute’s tasks as per regulations of the State and the Vietnam Union.
